Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Samburu
on your arrival at the Airport, you will meet with your guide/driver then proceed to Samburu a 7hrs
drive to north towards Nanyuki and Mount Kenya, crossing the equator and heading to lands of the
Samburu people. After arriving at Lion Cave Camp, you will refresh and some lunch.
After lunch you will drive to community for evening sunset photography. This is one of the highlight
of the trip; Samburu and Rendille people, two of Kenya’s most striking ethnic groups.
Dinner and overnight at Lion Cave Camp.

Day 2: Explore Loyangalani (Kaisut Desert)
In the morning after breakfast with enroute lunch you will embark on drive across some of the
most dramatic scenery through the South Horr Valley.
Arriving in Lake Turkana. The frontier town of Loiyangalalni is a melting pot of ethnic groups and
divides neatly into tribal zones; The Samburu, Turkana and Rendille have each made one part of the
town their home. In the evening you will have a sunset photography and finally overnight at
Malabo Resort.

Day 3: Explore Turkana Tribe and El Molo tribe
Today after the breakfast we will drive to Turkana community for photograph and activities till
noon.
Turkana People
The Turkana People are renowned for their fighting prowess and are recently thought to be the
oldest tribal society in the world. The Turkana people can trace their origins to the Dodoth
escarpment in north East Uganda, and their related tribal allies the Karamojong.
Immediately after lunch we will go to explore El Molo tribe who are resident of Turkana and
popular fishermen and women of the loingalayi community.

Day 4: Transfer to Chalbi Desert
In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on the road with packed lunch to Kenya’s remote
northern frontier, eventually arriving at Kalacha at lunch time, a desert oasis that sustains the
Gabbra people and their cattle during the dry season.
After refreshment and lunch, you will spend time interacting with Gabbra in Chalbi Desert.
The Gabbra follow a traditional age-set system, common amongst the northern nomads of passing
through distinct age groups every seven years.
You will have sunset photography then dinner and overnight at North Horr Catholic Mission

Day 5: Transfer to Samburu Community
Today after very early breakfast you will be transferred for 8 hrs drive to Samburu community. You
can either have packed lunch or at you camp in Samburu, if time allows you will drive back to
another village of Samburu for evening sunset photography and overnight stay at Lion Cave Camp.

Day 6: Samburu – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After a full buffet breakfast in camp we will drive to airstrip to board charter aircraft to Masai Mara
National Park, the home of the Masai tribe. After checking in to your lodge you will have lunch
before departing on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova Game
Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve Full Day
After breakfast, you will go for full day Game drive in the park.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe and you will
enjoy the flexibility and personalized service with our tour guide that will be unforgettable. You will
easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas,
jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Maasai Mara is situated
south-west of Kenya, abundant wildlife and endless plains and delivers many attractions such as
the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of
water and pasture to Maasai Mara, following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion,
cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
At the end of the afternoon, you will go back to the campsite to get some rest before dinner and
overnight at the camp.
Day 8: Maasai Village Visit – Nairobi
After breakfast, you will have a guided walk to Maasai village. Here you will be welcomed by the
locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich tradition. Part of the tour
includes a glimpse to their local homes and way of life.
After the Village visit you will be transfer to Nairobi Airport for you flight back home
